Gestalt Principles:

1. Asymmetrical.

In this picture it shows the proximity, the vase and roses are placed together to be more related, this makes the shape complete with each other. However, both sides different and this is called asymmetrical. 

2. Symmetrical.

In this picture, the symmetry and similarity are shown, so that where both sides of bird and leaves mirror one another.
